Transportation Mobility Survey

We are working to understand the transportation mobility of older Arkansans and its impact on their well-being and quality of life.

The need for older adults to remain active and engaged in society is related to transportation issues, particularly as the size and proportion of the older population grows in Arkansas. Mobility is important for satisfying basic life-sustenance needs such as nourishment, livelihood, and medical care, and for social interaction and recreation. These needs contribute to overall well-being of older adults.
